About the
H-2A Visa Program
The H-2 Visa Program allows U.S. employers to bring foreign workers to the country for temporary or seasonal jobs. The H-2A program specifically supports agricultural employers who anticipate a shortage of domestic workers, allowing them to hire skilled laborers for planting, cultivating, and maintaining crops. The program includes worker protections, fair wages, and housing requirements to ensure a safe and supportive work environment.

At Posey & Son Nursery, LLC, we are proud to participate in the H-2A program, providing skilled workers from Mexico with not just employment, but a welcoming, comfortable home and a supportive environment where they are valued as part of our nursery family.

Comfortable Living
& Support
H-2A workers live on-site during the season in a newly built, fully furnished 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. It includes a full kitchen, walk-in showers, large rooms, air conditioning, a TV for entertainment, and a back porch with a yard to relax on evenings and days off.

We also provide onsite Spanish interpretation through our Field Supervisor, Martin, so workers can communicate comfortably and confidently. For those without transportation, a member of our team ensures weekly trips to the grocery store and helps make sure they have everything they need to feel at home.
Why does this program matter?
The H-2A program allows us to offer consistent, meaningful employment while fostering a supportive, family-oriented environment. It ensures that our team members can focus on their work without worrying about housing, transportation, or basic needs. By providing comfortable living, clear communication, and hands-on support, we create a workplace where our workers feel valued, respected, and part of the nursery family.

This program strengthens our ability to maintain high-quality fields and operations year after year, helping us provide the best plants and service to our customers. More importantly, it allows us to build lasting relationships with workers who bring dedication, experience, and pride to their roles year after year.
